Fall is upon us! And what better way to celebrate than with some great cocktail recipes that are perfect to cozy up with as the weather starts changing. These cocktails are some of the SipScience team's favorite happy hour go-tos when we're mixing up at home, whether we're getting fancy or looking for a simple fall cocktail we can whip up before that scary movie Netflix watch party.
1. Cake N'Knife's Bourbon Pumpkin Smash
If you're looking for a rich pumpkin flavor, look no further. This pumpkin cocktail combines pumpkin puree with pumpkin pie spice and bourbon for a cocktail that'll remind you of the changing fall leaves. It's a bit complex of a recipe but worth the effort, especially if you want a cocktail that's sure to impress coworkers on that next virtual happy hour. You'll need:

1 oz pumpkin spice syrup
2 oz bourbon
1/4 oz lemon juice
4 oz soda water

8 oz pumpkin puree

2. HGTV's Caramel Apple Martini
HGTV has us mesmerized with their caramel apple martini, a fall cocktail that's perfect for apple picking season! It combines Bailey's, apple, and butterscotch schnapps for a creamy, warming cocktail that will make you want to cozy up in your fall blanket and light that fall scented candle. It includes:
1 oz. Baileys Irish cream
1/2 oz. apple schnapps
1/2 oz. butterscotch schnapps
2 oz. half-and-half or whole milk
coarse sugar

3. DamnDelicious' Kahlua Hot Chocolate

2 cups milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons Dutch-processed unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
1 ounce Kahlúa coffee liqueur

4. Love & Olive Oil's Bourbon Salted Caramel Milkshake
We absolutely adore this fall cocktail. Salted Caramel lovers get excited, because blogger Lindsay's delicious, creamy, and boozy milkshake is a perfect 21+ fall dessert or sweet treat. Combining vanilla ice cream, bourbon, and a home made salted caramel sauce, this recipe is a fall must-have for happy hour. To make it, you'll need:

1 tablespoon corn syrup
pinch cream of tartar
1/4 cup water
2/3 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 1/2 tablespoons bourbon
1/4 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
For Milkshakes:
16 ounces vanilla ice cream
1/3 cup bourbon caramel sauce, plus more for garnish
1/3 cup milk, more or less as needed
2 tablespoons bourbon

5. Not Without Salt's Hot Buttered Rum
Not Without Salt has an easy recipe for a classic fall cocktail that won't disappoint. It combines quintessential fall spices like nutmeg, cinnamon, and cardamom with brown sugar to form a creamy cocktail base you can keep in your fridge.
